The ancient times are gone but problems stay unsolved
The Gordian knot still tied, the streets of Jerusalem in blood
The man his own opponent in blind pursue and chase
and history repeats itself for hundreds and thousands of years

I’ve heard stories told by elderly folk:

“... On the outskirts of Mouthier, at the river of la Loue
where reeds and willows grow, where the shore is very low
a sinister Vouivre dwelled there
spreading fear, chaos and death
to the greedy mob hunting her precious stone …

... Once the man saw the jewel stone
his heart was beating for one goal
to own this gem for him alone to make him richer than all lords
madness gripped his confused mind
and brought death upon his house … “

Is this story so old or is it just from our world?

Empires rise and fall - fanatism, hate, lies and wars
And no one seems to care that we all share the same space and fate
